History

In reflecting upon the past, there is forcibly brought home to us the fact that our inheritance is our challenge. May we continue to "maintain and defend at all hazard and at any cost the blessed doctrine of the complete atonement for sin through the blood of Jesus Christ, once offered and through that alone." Our ideals and our resourcefulness will determine our destiny. (except from 'A Century of Blessings and Commitment')

1st Pastor F. A. Mueller

Our Golden Jubilee

"As we face the future with God's Word as our guide and the Holy Spirit as our instructor, we say as Joshua of old, 'Choose ye this day whom ye will serve...but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.' May God keep us a functioning, soul-winning, God-honouring people. 'If God be for us, who can be against us."

George Robinson, Pastor

75th Anniversary

"We enjoy A PRICELESS POSSESSION, rooted deeply in Christ's righteousness, centred in HIS REDEMPTION through His blood shed on the cross for the remission of our sins, and impelling us to show forth the praises of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. 'Worthy is the Lamb that was slain...blessing and honor, and glory, and power be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb forever and ever.' "

David Berg, Pastor

100th Anniversary

"The Apostle Paul challenges us in Philippians 3:12 to 'Forget what is behind and to strain on toward what is ahead.' As Calvary Baptist Church moves into its second century of ministry, we all continue to strain on toward that clear goal of 'making disciples of all nations.' As we work toward this goal, we can be sure that Calvary Baptist church will live to see a second "Century of Blessings and Commitment."

Phil Holbrook, Pastor
